Generac Cold Weather Kit for 7kW Core Power Generator 0J579900CW

This cold weather kit is intended for use with Generac core power generator only. It is recommended for generators installed in regions where the temperature regularly falls below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. When the temperature falls below an acceptable level, the thermostat activates the crankcase oil heater and battery warmer in order to maintain optimum battery temperature.

When installing a cold weather kit, it is required that the oil and filter are replaced with the Generac Power Systems provided 5W-30 synthetic and Generac oil filter for better engine start capability. Your generator model number is located inside the generator enclosure on the divider plate near the control panel.

Maintenance Kit Includes:

• 1 Thermostatically controlled battery warmer
• 1Thermistatically controlled oil sump heater
• 1 Oil filter
• 2 Bottles of SAE 5W30
